The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the carne asada burrito, which was nothing short of spectacular. The meat was tender and flavorful, wrapped in a perfectly cooked tortilla and complemented by fresh ingredients. It's a dish I would highly recommend to any carne asada enthusiast. However, the service was somewhat slow. It took a while for our server to come by and take our order, and we experienced a similar wait for our waters. Despite this, the staff was friendly and courteous once they did attend to us. Overall, Tres Hermanas offers excellent food that is well worth the visit. If they could improve their service speed, it would elevate the dining experience even further.

I wish I would have taken more photos! The outside of Tres Hermanas is just as beautiful as the inside. I was recommended by several people to try this place and I'm so happy I listened. My friends and I were sat right away, service was wonderful, all the staff were welcoming. The menu has a great range in terms of selection. I chose one of my favorites the camarones Al mojo de ajo and it did not disappoint. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, just which there was a bit more garlic, the beans and rice were fantastic! We didn't have to wait long for our food either and we did not hesitate to I hale everything. Friends that accompanied me had the enchiladas, Chile rellenos, and flautas. I didn't get photos but they all said their food was delicious and it looked like it too! Don't skip out on this gem

Been coming here for almost 10 years! Food is delicious decadent, definitely enough for leftovers- which is a good thing because their prices have gone up significantly in the last couple of years (limit 2 chip baskets per table and no more complimentary salad/soup with meals) . Cute decor, big patio, and cozy bar. Service is fast, sometimes to a fault- errors have been made in our orders (and/or bill). But overall, 4 stars!

Other restaurants come and go, but not Tres Hermanas. This place has some serious staying power. It's been around longer than those out of work relatives that moved into your basement. Well, they must be doing something right. I can't say I've had a problem with the food, service, or anything else during any of my visits. The staff is great and really hustles. The food is good and very filling. The drinks... well, let's just say I've had a few and they've never let me down. The location on K street is a little unusual because it's in an old house. But it works! The ambiance is great and there's even a nice patio out front. If there are any flaws, I can't find them. Keep on truck'n Tres Hermanas you've got some skilled drivers behind the wheel.

Still after all these years Tres Hermanas has proven it's rooted establishment in the Sacramento community as one of and in my opinion maybe the only authentic flavorful Mexican cuisine in the area. From the shredded beef tacos to the chicken mole (my personal favorites) to the carnitas, chile verde, chile colorado you cannot go wrong venturing into any dish! Key tip to knowing if it's going to be authentic: The salsa. It starts right there. The salsa never fails to be so yummy! Do not skip the salad with their house made cilantro dressing (very fresh ingredients and that dressing is just incredible.)

Tres Hermanas is located in the heart of midtown and it is without a doubt the most authentic Mexican food you'll get in the area. It's casual yet still nice enough to impress the most folks on their first visit. The bar area is beautiful and is great for meeting up with friends or dates. Chips and salsa here are complimentary and the waiters are always nearby for refills when they get low. I love their albóndigas soup. It's always a great starter before a meal. The meatballs in it are hearty and full of great flavor. The zucchini's and carrots are so good! I could eat this whether it's 60 degrees or 98 degrees outside. They're not shy with the portions here. They charge a premium for food but you get what you pay for! Quality authentic Mexican dishes and plenty of it. Food service was fast, this was a late Sunday afternoon and we were in and out of the place within the hour.
